Visite de l'exposition Kandinsky

En cette fin d'année 2016, nous étions à nouveau une vingtaine à braver cette fois un froid glacial et une pollution tenace pour nous rendre au Musée de Grenoble.
Une importante exposition Kandinsky y était présentée, relatant les années parisiennes de l'artiste (1933-1944).
En effet Kandinsky trouva refuge à Paris, après avoir quitté la Russie soviétique, peu sensible à ses œuvres, puis l'Allemagne nazie.
70 œuvres illustraient cette période et nous avons pu nous familiariser avec le vocabulaire géométrique, la relation musique/art (il jouait des couleurs comme un pianiste avec ses touches) et les mondes microscopiques ou macroscopiques qu'il affectionnait.
La visite était en anglais, ce qui nous a permis d'élargir à nouveau notre vocabulaire.

At the end of 2016, once again 20 of us braved the bitter cold weather and the persistent pollution to visit Grenoble Museum. An important Kandinsky exhibition was on show, presenting the artist's Parisian period. (1933 -1944)
Kandinsky found refuge in Paris, after leaving firstly Soviet Russia where his works were by no means appreciated, and then Nazi Germany.
70 works illustrated this period and we were able to become acquainted with the geometric vocabulary, the link between music and art (he played with colours like a pianist with his keyboard) and the microscopic and macroscopic worlds he admired so much.
The visit was in English which allowed us once again to enrich our vocabulary.
The works of Fantin Latour will be the next exhibition.
